Well, don't say I didn't tell you.....

Had a traumatic day of finding out what the singer in my band's intentions were and working myself up to get angry at him...

however, when he hit me with a 4 page email of his reasons for wanting to quit the band I could hardly fault him. He knows we only play music for fun and don't actually aspire to anything whereas he wants one last shot at doing something with his own collection of songs - which are VASTLY different from our style.

So, all in all, we have a gig in 5 weeks - that will go ahead but after that we will be advertising for someone to come in and fill the void. Until then our current singer will keep on keeping on - he doesn't want to quit, he just can't devote the time to us that we require. So it'll be tearful farewells I think.

In better news, we've got a great new tune that sounds like Hot Snakes. This makes me happy.

Apart from that, life has been OK - although the ham fried rice I just ate has left me feeling a little ill. It's maybe a tad late for all that food!

So, off to bed I go - work in 9 hours.
