OK, Friday night and I guess being back at work this week maybe wasn't so bad. Yeah, it's kinda rubbish getting up at 7am and getting home at 6pm when it's dark and rainy and windy but hey, it pays the bills and keeps me flush with whichever DVD's I fancy this month....
I think next on my list will be either The Jacket, The Machinist or The 40 Year Old Virgin. Maybe some more X-Files box sets... I've got up to number 5 - only got 4 to go and I've got them all. Woohoo!
I watched Happiness of the Katakuris last night. Great Takashi Miike movie.... best bit is when they are crying and wailing over someone who shall remain un-named in case of spoilers, thinking he/she is dead and then they suddenly realise that he/she isn't dead after all and they all stand up and, rather embarrassed, get on with the plot.
I was meant to be off to the flicks tonight to see something or other but it hasn't happened.
Due to financial constraints and laziness I've spent every night in the house for the past 5 or 6 days. No band practise cos someone had exams - which is fair enough. Back into the swing of things with that on Monday!
I have doubts over the commitment of our singer. Note that I have raised these concerns at this stage and look out for future developments. Niggling feelings.......
Anyway, sorry this has been a dull read. Maybe something exciting will happen soon....
