Sitting around bored watching the X-Files and thought - HEY - let's write random nonsense in the journal.
Had a creepy cat incident today. Was getting myself ready to go out and heard the noise of what I thought was a small child in the stairwell outside my flat. Anyway, the 'child' was making these noises for a good 5 minutes and as I slung my jacket on and opened the door to go out there was this bright orange cat with lighter orange streaks running through it and massive green eyes on my doormat. It forced it's way into my hallway and I ushered it out whereupon it proceeded to follow me down the stairs and through the security door to get outside. When outside it then followed me for the next ten minutes rubbing its wee self against me every few seconds and constantly meowing!!!
I tell you, I thought it was gonna be sitting on my couch with a glass of wine when I returned to my flat earlier. But no, it wasn't there.
Cool cat though. Maybe it'll come visit me again....

RFTC mean so much to me all the way back to Circa Now when I discovered it on vinyl and was taken in by the front cover.
Best band in the world ever. Best live act I've ever seen. Best frontman. He's a really cool guy too, I met him once after a show and he just talked away to me and some friends and is an excellent guy!
They will be sorely missed.
Oh, and Hot Snakes too - can't believe they split at the same time. But I got to see them just before the split so that was cool!
