It is halfway through June already. What is happening in the world?!
I got a 2:1 for my second year. Nearly burst into tears (of relief and happiness) in my tutor's office when I realised they weren't going to kick me out.
Parent's reaction: "Nevermind."
Told my mum I'd been struggling this year, and she asked whether it was because of the deli or because of alcohol. Wasn't sure how to explain to her that it was because I am not as clever as everyone else.
In other news, I am feeling quite abandoned. All my friends have gone home for the summer and the only housemate left is never in. I am spending around 50 hours a week at work and sleeping the rest of the time.
I have made friends with next door's cat.
I have had a haircut.
I am thinking about dying bits of my hair blonde.
This is the sum total of my summer so far.
