So, I had a nice talk with my ex the other day, and a little yesterday.
It's gonna be okay I think. I had gotten the impression from others that he was feeling very down and I still care for him so I was sad to hear that. but he said he is doing fine. I have to believe him, I mean, this is the one person I've trusted the most for so long, so why start mistrusting him now?
I told him that I'll probably find it hard to just be friends right away, that I still need time to get through this range of emotions, but I hope eventually we can be friends, hang out, go hunting or whatever. I guess there were some misunderstandings between us and we got that cleared up. There are obviously still gonna be some awkward situations, but hey. That's life....
Yesterday I went for a walk with 3 people from work. We went to the lake where we get our drinking water from and walked on the ice almost to the other end. We saw plenty of paw prints from foxes, but no fox. I really wanna see a live one in its winter coat. Big fluffy and white. They are so small, basically the size of a big cat and they're really cute. (except when they're rabid I guess...).
Anyhoo... I actually fired a rifle! I'm so proud.
I'm kinda scared of weapons, but I have this ambition that before I leave Greenland for good I have to have shot and killed a reindeer. (which by the way are way yummy!). This was just a small kaliber, think .22 if that's the proper way to write it, I know nothing of guns! The boys also brought a 30.06 rifle, but for 2 reasons I didn't wanna shoot it. 1. I was scared. 
2. Out of respect for my ex. I've been with him on the shooting range many times but I've always been a silly scared girl and never fired a shot. And I don't want him to feel like now I've thrown him away and now I can go do stuff he couldn't help me do or something. I now, it's probably silly, but hey. I am a silly girl!
We wanted to have a bbq tonight, but the weather forecast says snow in the afternoon, evening so I'm not too sure we can go. Should've done it yesterday, the weather was great. Still a bit chilly, but it would've been nice.
The sun's up now from like 5:30 in the morning til about 10 in the evening. In a few weeks, it'll be light 24 hours a day.

I've bough a hibiscus plant and I actually thought I might one day get a hibiscus flower tattooed on my foot. Think that would look good?
