Success.
-Although a few of the people I invited didn't show up, the new years party went really well. Had a nice set up of snacks for everybody to munch on and plenty of alcohol to get to where I wanted to go. The band was great, after they finally got their shit together and played. We finished up the night by listening to the Underground soundtrack and dancing around like fools, or maybe that was just me. Wrapped it up about 3:30 and made a beeline for the bedroom. Woke up to a balmy afternoon and took the girl and the dogs to the lake and found a perfect spot, this field that ran up a hill with green velvety grass and at the top the sun shone directly down on it and it butted up to a cliff overlooking the lake and we just ran around with the dogs and watched the boats sail by us. We even happened to be the 100th customer at the Chick fill-a on the way there so we got a free meal too. What timing. Great start to a new year. The Fairlane was running like a champ, even though I still have some brake adjustments to make, damn drum brakes. Anyway, that's minor in comparison to all the good stuff. I hope everyone else's new years went as well.
