Blargh. Yeah, so I've been working my ass off at Saggios lately, pulling in the overtime hours in hopes of being able to buy some nice things this summer. First thing I wanted to get was a nice digital camera, which I thought I had in the bag after last week's overtime...Unfortunately, the day before payday I received three overdraft notices from the bank which ended up sucking away all the extra money I'd earned. So now I continue to work my ass off, and hopefully before long I'll be able to buy a damn camera, 'cause I really need a hobby.
Aside from that, things are starting to get a little interesting this summer.
In two days, my brother ships off to basic training (he's 35, incidentally. Go figure.). While our mother's having conniptions about the whole thing, I personally think at least the training and discipline will be good for him. And if they try to deploy him, I can always shoot him in the foot so he can't go.
And in four days, the lovely lady I keep talking about returns from her European vacation, and we'll see where things stand with us. I've done enough soul-searching that I'm ready to just be her friend, if that's all she wants from me.
And in a few weeks, I'm having a big barbeque, which ought to be damn fun, even if it only ends up being a few people. I love a good barbeque.
Anyway, that's all I have to say about that.
