Praise <insert deity here>, they finally wisened up and cancelled sorority karaoke night at work!! Of course, they waited until I had arrived with my DJ accoutrements to inform me. At least it's dead and (hopefully) buried. I can't even begin to describe how unenthusiastic I've been about this whole thing. 
Anyway, I'm going out to celebrate this wondrous occasion. Maybe go downtown and check out the Rockabilly show at the Atomic, or something. If any of y'all SGNMers feel like joining me, or have alternative ideas for the evening, you have my number.
