Had a pretty good weekend, nothing too eventful... that's just how I planned it.
I've relinquished 50% of the control of COCADISCO at the Rosemount. A friend will now be helping me with bookings and promo... All I have to do is remain myself. The music policy will now cater more for us than for the others, a bit of diversity is needed. We are going to get members of a few local bands to come down and have a crack at dj'ing... this will piss off the wannabe's - that's the whole idea!!!
It's all PUNK-ROCK-ELECTRO-NUWAVE etc, etc, etc.
Bought Gary Glitters "Glitter" yesterday.
Even though he's a paedo, he still made some interesting music. I used to Have "Rock'n'Roll" on single... now I've got the album.
Also picked up Split Endz "Corroboree", not their best album but I like to listen to "One Step Ahead" when I'm in one of my more reflective moods.
I'm gonna go checkout WOWSVILLE on friday night and will try to make it down to 80's Denim on saturday night... it's all dependant on how bad my hang-over is.
