Okey dokey!

I'm certainly glad to say that all of my Chrissie shopping is all done!
Time to sit back and enjoy the festivities.
Despite my grandad passing away, it feels like it's going to be a special Christmas.

Now howa-bout-hookup-hey! I thought that no one was going to show up.
However all Perthites were accounted for, 'cept Kimberley... she got the message too late. Great company and good fun. I think that everyone is now aware of my fondness for beer and chitter chatter!

I also found out something interesting today... my great, great grandfather
was a convict, sent to Van diemens Land (Tasmania) for the term of his natural life (1824). After serving 18 years he recieved a full pardon, and continued with LIVING. His records detail the brutal treatment that he recieved: hard labour, flogging, chain gangs, and being made to operate a human powered mill (like a rat on a running wheel). There is nothing to indicate what he was charged for, however most of his fellow inmates had 7 year sentances... me feels that he did somting pretty bad...
