***Update Update Update***

Last Friday we bought Battle Royale II thinking it was going to be as good as the first. See it if you are really curious but don't expect it to be even as remotely as great as the first one.

On Saturday we watched the Passion. Eh. What can I say? It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I was expecting to be overwhelmed by emotion but I was too distracted by the explicit violence to be really affected. So in that sense, it was a major let-down. I also don't see the controversy concerning the portrayal of the Jews. I don't think anyone was portrayed any better or worse than anyone else. But that's just what I think. I've said this before and I'll say it again...I am much too self-absorbed in my own life to really be concerned with other's struggles and issues.

As for my "time away"...all I did was go to CT with my friend to lend her some support with a trial she's become embroiled in. It was cool to go to court and to get away for a bit.

How is everyone else? Did I miss anything major in any of your lives?
