I appreciate everyone's have fun in Rome wishes. Im not leaving until the end of the month though. We just booked our flights and rooms this past week. I was getting a little stressed about it this past week. I am not financially prepared like I would like to be, for going to Rome. I know Im only committed to spending about $500 which is nothing compared to what this trip should be costing me. It just isnt the best time ($$$).
You should never let money keep you from doing something you have always wanted to do though.
I use to help out my friends who didn't have the money to do something fun with the rest of the group. It just isn't right that you can't have as much fun as the next guy because you don't have the money. That's a pisser.
Enough of that though.
I gottta brand new Cannondale bike. Haven't paid for it yet, but apparently I "don't need to worry about that right now". So I won't. It should cost me about $450 including helmet. Which I know is a crazy deal because the helmet alone was an $80 helmet. I don't have to worry about paying for it until I get back from Rome.
In the meantime Im gonna go tear through the woods Sunday.
I wish I could get paid to just check out new bands. Singed or unsigned. Or find bands and put on a show. I just want a job that gives me the oppurtunity to check out new talent and help them get only as big as they want to be. And have the power to get their music to the people they wish would give them a chance.
Can I get paid for that?

im actually a local promoter & i check out bands & get paid to put on shows...i just do it locally, but i love it! i love seeing local bands & supporting my local scene, plus im a pretty well recognized promoter out here so i get alot of respect from bands which is cool. plus, bands are dying to get on my shows...its pretty cool actually!
