Havent been around in awhile I know. I dont even have a good reason either. My mind has been jumbled with ideas of what to do with my days other then my present norm.
Im working a master plan. I must quit my job. Has to happen. My life hasnt been this boring ever. I havent lived in the same place and had the same job for this long EVER! I dont even like my job or where I live. Therefore; master plan must start taking effect.
I will have a new car by the end of Sept. Hopefully a new job, maybe in addition to present one by the end of the year. Moving somewhere not so bla in the spring.
I want to make 4-5 bills a week working a couple days, maybe nights. I want my days free to help out labels, venues, and music mags. that would pay little if at all. Id be much happier doing that with my days. Plus Id meet interesting people, and have more subjects to photograph, maybe even bands. Ahhhhh! Thats my plan. Even better, fuck the BS job. Pay my bills doing my desired daytime activities; that would be superb.
I have no connections. major problem in my plan. Whatta ya gonna do?
On a not so heavy thought. I saw Face to Face last week. Last show in NYC. So sad. Kickass show. Next up, the Rev. at Maxwell's in Sept. I cant fucking wait. Thats gonna kickass. Maybe even better then seeing em' at TopCats in Cinci.
Then FuManchu at Maxwells. Maxwells has such good shows.
I think the band im in might get a show soon. Kinda excited, kinda not looking forward to it. Not so much stage frieght, as knowing Im going to fuck up and not sure if I will deal with that well. If I can just get past that first show though, its gotta be smooth-sailing from there. . . .right? Thats what Im hoping anyway.

I think once you get over that new feeling of being out infront of a bunch of people trying to impress them with your music, you'll get over the shock like stepping into cold water. You'll get used to it in time!
