So I was suppose to get my tattoo today but the artist and I weren't feeling to excited about a certain element in it, so he wanted to do some more research and tweeking. I really wanted it today. I am very pleased about how dedicated he is to making it perfect though. He won't do it unless he is excited about it too, which makes me feel good about having him do it. I feel I am in good hands. Ahh well, the more time he spends on it the better it will get.

I was also suppose to meet with someone about a possible job oppurtunity today. She turned out to be caught up in some other fiasco and didn't have time to talk with me. I must thrust myself in front of her tomorrow. I gotta be more assertive, she'd probably respect that too. Its a possible postion in a different dept. at the magazine where I intern.

So, its been kinda disapointing today, but not necessarily bad. I did receive a kickass skirt in the mail, AND some new CrimethInc literature. So that was a pick me up after a busy day in the city.
I know its pathetic that receiving material things make me happy. I wish it didn't work that way, but I guess Im a whore to the economy like that. At least Im buying from cool places, and not places of corporate bastard stature. I know "what ever you need to tell yourself."
