and yeah, I'm so fucking bummed about missing HRC, they're one of my absolute favorite bands, but Elefant is still my favorite indie band, so seeing them should be just as good. Elefant linkage.

yes, I agree the recording quality is horrendous. my friend and I put together this improv-core band called Binary, it's absolutely fucking insane, but if you have an open mind and a sense of humor you'll probably like it. it's just me on drums and singing/screaming, and my best friend on bass. it's seriously terribly recorded but so garage, it was fun to make it. but anyway, hopefully our PureVolume page will be up in a few days, and when it is approved I'll definitely give you the link.

ahh what a week. so I finally got my tattoo done Friday night. three hours to do the color. much less painful then the outline which only took an hour and a half. plus Jae talked to me more which helped I think. and I breathed a lot better. could have actually fallen asleep a few times. it got kinda meditative.

yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. the other day I was out with my best friend and we went to this pizza place, and there was this absolutely amazing looking girl sitting over at this table, and of course (since all the attractive girls here are taken) there was this extremely man-pretty guy sitting next to her wearing an Every Time I Die shirt on. so surprisingly I went up and made small talk with them, the guy seemed really cool and the girl was real sweet. but nevertheless, it still made me feel muy inferior.
