Had a great 4th weekend. Uncharachteristic of me, I actually had some fun I went to visit my sister and bro-in-law in Austin. Saturday was boring, furniture and home store hopping. But Sunday, we went to see Farenheit 9/11 which I totally recommend whether you are for or against Bush and/or the war. I tend to take those kinds of movies with bit of skepticism since they can tend to be one-sided, and this was no exception, but I didn't care in this case because I don't care for our pres at all and being a native Texan agree with the Dixie Chicks before they wimped out and apologized. Anyway, later on at sundown we went and watched an estimated 700,000 bats set out on their nightly flight from the Congress Ave. bridge. A couple of margaritas and two great fireworks displays were to follow after which we went home and watched more fireworks out by the pond behind my sis's house courtesy of some neighbors.
