My band Landfall (in which I play bass) has been on virtual hiatus for about a year due to lots of shit happening like cars dying, practice spaces being given up, drummers going back to school, singers getting married and lead guitar players quitting. But, we have a new guitarist and a new practice space and hopefully will start playing some gigs before too long. (let me know if you have any sweet hookups in that area). Some bands we've done shows with in the past include BoJones, Satin Hooks, Two Star Symphony, and The Dimes, and once in a blue moon 90.something or other "The Gulf Coast Rocker" plays our song "Think About It". We play sorta early to mid 90's sounding indie power pop I guess. Some of our influences include Weezer, Teenage Fanclub, Pixies, Dinosaur Jr, The Rentals, That Dog, Superchunk, Ozma, to name a few. Here's a few unfinished songs, demos essentially:
This is our short punk pop tune and it's pretty much done except it has scratch vocals and is just rough mixed.
Acetominophen
This is possibly my favorite of our songs and this recording is far from done. It's rough mixed, lacking lead guitar, vocals are scratch, bass needs to be rerecorded, and the keyboard was added later by me at home and apparently the others don't like it as much as I do and will be different.
Sedentary Lifestyle
Mostly done, lead guitar not done, scratch vocal, rough mix.
