So I'll take today's sucky events as an opportunity to make my first-ever journal entry, and rant while I'm at it.
Retuned home from work to find I had a message from my bank, with an 800 number to call--something about my debit card. The woman on the other end of aforementioned 800 number asks me if I made a couple of different transactions, including a $5 donation to the American Red Cross. The donation I had not made; yup, my credit card # had been compromised...great
Anyhoo, I'm lucky in that the $5 donation was the only charge he/she/they got away with(she said they commonly 'test' stolen card numbers on 'low security' sites, such as charitible organizations). Now I just have to wait 5-7 days for my new card to arrive, and in the meantime, I guess, go withdraw cash. I NEVER carry cash.
The minor inconvenience aspects of all this are not the point. The point is: How the FUCK dare anyone fuck with anyone else's shit?! Their property, their money, their goddamn IDENTITY?! For fuck sake, just LEAVE PEOPLE THE FUCK ALONE, and, while you're at it, STOP SUCKING.
Okay, at least that made me feel a little better about it. But srsly, who the fuck do they think they are?! Sorry. I'm done now
