Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. Mine was pretty crap, I spent both of mine at work. We usually get told to take it easy and relax on xmas day and boxing day by watching movies and playing in our christmas knockout competitions in pool , snooker , darts and table football but this year one of the plant systems decided to absolutely shit itself on xmas eve and it took 3 days to fix.
At least New Years day was steady and we got to watch a couple of films, drink a few cans of alcohol free lager and smoke a couple of huge cuban cigars that a mate brought back from his honeymoon in Cuba. Ive got 3 weeks off now to catch up on my celebrating
What about that storm last night, the weather guys were saying that the winds were getting up to 100 mph. That must be the closest I've been to experiencing what a hurricane feels like. I lost 5 ridge tiles off my roof and the garden fence decided to go airborne. Compared to some of the other houses in my street i think I got off quite lightly.

Woah a flying garden fence, sounds like some crazy ass wind over there. We've been pretty windy here in California too. There was actually a huge tree that was uprooted by the wind just off a highway that fell over and crushed a car killing the driver. No flying fences yer but i'll keep you up to date.
My Christmas was pretty shitty too, but New years was great. Seems the older i get the worse Christmas gets and the better new year's gets......good ole alcohol!!
