Well...the last of two going away parties for me took place this afternoon. I'm officially out of here as of Friday morning. I'm moving to Washington D.C. to work for a major cable network. The pay is fucking awesome and I can't wait to start the job. I feel like 7 years of slaving away in local tv news is finally paying off. Rent up in D.C. is fucking crazy. It's going to be costing $1500 for a two bedroom place. I'm sure something cheaper could be had, but I don't want to live somewhere that you really have to worry about coming home and finding your shit stolen. I'll probably be without internet come Friday for a week or two. If anyone reads this from the D.C. / Baltimore area, hit me up. I only know one person up there.
