Words matter. I've been trying to offload an extra couch before I move. I've had it up on Craigslist for a week or so with a picture. The ad said something like " Purple couch, several years old but in good condition." No one wanted it. Re-listed it today, same picture but now it says:
Very cool purple couch, soft, comfortable and everything you would want in a couch--like the best friend you never had, but a friend that you can sit on.
And like 10 fucking people emailed about it.
Also Craigslist people are weird. The dude who bought my bed frame last weekend emailed me the next day and wanted to hangout.
