I found out today that the head of the Helmets to Hardhats program in DC read an article I wrote about their program last year and because of the comments of some of the Ironworkers in the program I interviewed, they are going to be adding funding to help vets buy the clothing, initials, and other gear they might need to start work, which for some trades, could be several hundred dollars worth of stuff.

Now I am off to punch people in the head.
