To My First Patient of the Night,
You're in pain because you didn't take care of yourself for a few decades. If you want us to help you, please don't actively make our job harder. NOT eating chips and drinking soda while we ask you questions is a good place to start.
To My Boss of the Night,
Talking down to me and treating me like shit for the first 2 hours is an effective means of pissing me off, and suddenly perking up will not make me your buddy. We aren't dating and I'm not getting paid, so I am not inclined to deal with your erratic mood swings.
To Another Boss Earlier This Week,
I heard what you said to that patient, and it disgusted me. Whether or not she has an abortion is her business, not yours. You aren't pregnant, alone, and poor, so shut the Hell up.
