Things I Learned This Week
1. If you stick a long needle into a small object (for example, a finger), make sure the object is stable or the needle might go all the way through.
2. Don't test for it if you aren't going to treat it.
3. Never assume a patient lying in bed has legs.
4. If you're wondering whether or not you should test for drugs, then you should test for drugs.
5. Patients lie a lot. (See #4)
