politics makes me really really excited right now

excited as in happy

not as in sexy fun times

recommend me some political reading.. i'm off to go buy some american history books and sit in my living room and make 'ooh thats interesting' noises as i find out interesting things

i am so curious about it all and bambi like...

in other news, newcastle is cold- take a coat and scarf when you go out!

and remember that soup and stew are wonderful.. eat them with lots of bread

If you fancy a novel with a historical political theme, I can't recommend The Mandarins more.

I agree, stew and soup with lots of bread (and loads of butter) are the best.
