*Funny Story*
Went to a lesbian bar by accident stayed for an hour and never felt so out of place.
Story
I've never felt so lost, happy, confused, joyful, and wierd all at the same time. So the perks of These Guys: I love hanging out with them, they all bring to the table, funny as hell, all around good guys. Now this is where things go strange for me.
In order for one of These Guys to have a good chance hooking up with his female friend, the other Three Guys tag along for the ride.
"There are four of us Guys for those not sure"
So start at The Mix....head to Nolan and 37 South then bring it back around to I-10 and Hilderbrand...finishing at Cypress and San Pedro making it an all around 15 min non stop ride just to end up in the same area from the start.
Ok, so wasting gas no problem. Ok this chick that is hooking up with This Guy has friends. Thing look better for the rest of us Three Guys.
"Now to make sure your following along I'm part of the Three Guys."
So we head into The City and there is a cover charge. Ok. No problem 5 bucks to help out our friend... it's all good. Feeling good about helping out one of the bros we head in. As we enter the smiles on our faces grow larger with every step as we cannot help but feeling that we've been set up. I always thought my first gay bar experience would happen due to the fact that I'm utterly drunk and being dragged along. 3 out of the 4 of us are sober including me. So we step into this gay/lesbian, female, demographically black oriented bar. I cannot stop laughing the entire time there and one of the Three Guys feels threatened for his life since he is the only minority there.... White. Good thing we only have 40 minutes before the bar closes so we stick it out. The Three Guys are in the vicinity of the female friends while This Guy branches off to seal the deal with this girl he's talking to. As us Three Guys stand sipping on our drinks we notice that this chicks friends are pretty interested in each other. Soooo we stay wise and let them get their thing on.
All hope is lost
At least This Guy is getting somewhere with his Target Chick.
Bar closes
Ok now to the apartment so This Guy can get further with his Target Chick. Lets cut to the chase. So This Guy finds out that his Target Chick experimented awhile back and is completely straight now.
COME ON.....STRAIGHT NOW??? NOT TO PUT A DAMPER ON HIS PARADE BUT IF YOUR CURIOUS ONCE YOULL BE CURIOUS OR OPEN AGAIN.
So we split the apartment, time is now 6:30 a.m. and we decide to go to IHOP. Drive all the way back to Broadway to enjoy some Bacon, egg, Cheeseburgers. Delicious.
What can I say, These Guys. Never a dull moment.
