I manage to update in less than a year! Woo!
So, what's been happening? Well, in all honesty large amount of the last year has been consumed with writing my final dissertation, so that's my excuse for isolating myself from all things net related for so long. Therefore anyone wishing to discuss 'Eemian Climate Variability and its Potential for Predicting Future Climate Change: Evidence from North Atlantic Sediment Core EW9303-17 ' should definitely get in touch...
So, what else has been going on in my world? Not a huge amount really. Am currently seeing someone (5 months this week!) and it seems to be going pretty well. I keep finding myself feeling restless though, so we'll have to see.
I'm in denial about the fact that I will be finishing uni in a few months. I have no plans for next year. A few PhDs caught my eye, but I keep on losing confidence when it gets down to it. I almost applied for teacher training too, but decided that money wasn't the right reason to do it. In all honesty though I'm looking forward to a year of not stressing over coursework and deadlines. Something mundane and 9 to 5 will suit me fine for now. Six onths of tedium and I'll be ready to apply for anything.
As far as immediate plans, I'm hopefully gonna be heading to Canada for 4 weeks over the summer for a spot of all night driving, aimless wandering and general fun. Anyone with suggestions for essential activities in Canada will be welcomed gladly!
At the moment though I'm just busy panicking about finals and the fact I get my dissertation mark back next week. It's the most terrifying thought I've ever had. Fingers crossed!
Anyways, I'm gonna stop rambling now. I'd forgotten how good this journal thing felt though. It's kinda nice to write stuff down. Maybe I'll be writing here a bit more, at least for a while til something else distracts me.
