What's with all the brutal honesty?
So I'm back home for my Dad's birthday this weekend, he's getting my Mum's birthday tattooed backwards on his chest. I'm not so much of a family person these days but little moments like that make me really happy to have the family I have.

Lately I've been thinking a lot. I don't do nearly enough, I spend so much time sitting about doing nothing of any importance and I'm getting the feeling that I'm wasting a lot of time.
I think I need someone to give me something to care about.
I think I need someone to care about.
I'm in no rush to get into a relationship.
I've come to realize that a lot of people want to be in one to make themselves happy and I don't think that's a good way to go about it.

I keep replaying this one night over and over in my head and it's getting difficult to stop doing it. Basically, there was this girl I knew from my younger days and we had a little bit of history.
We hung out and it was amazing; I've never really felt "chemistry" with other people before. But she's not in a position where she wants to pursue anything like that for the time being and I'm obviously 100% cool with that but it doesn't make it any easier.
I spent about 2 years kind of rebuilding myself after I got seriously shat on by someone else and...I don't know. What I'm trying to say is I wish things weren't the way they are.
So for the time being I'm very much still single and I'm not going to sit about waiting until she's ready and I'm just going to see what happens with whoever I can trick into liking me.

I miss college, I can't wait to go back but I have the funniest feeling that there will be some issue with SAAS and loans etc.

I've started writing more regularly, I'll maybe put some stuff up here sometime. At the moment I'm working on one long term project but I had an idea for a script I might try and write by the end of the summer to film over the winter. The working title is "Other people".
