Had an interview the the Dr Martens shop in Manchester this morning and they offered me a job!!!

It's only temp, until the end of January, but it's better than nothing. The money's ok, the hours are reasonable, the manager is gorgeous and so are the staff. Tomorrow I tell Sainsburys to fuck off forever!!! wooooohoooooo!!!!!!!!!! No more 0600 starts!!!!

girlblue is right it's all about acceptance.

I don't recommend anyone taking prozac. Despite what people think it doesn't help depression. It numbs you. The depression is still there; it's just surpressed. Then when the doctors think you'r OK + take you off it. it hits you like a brick wall again. Then they put you back on. It's a viscious circle. I'd rather deel with my depression (I am bi-polar) without medication so I never take what they give me. Prozac + other anti-depressants often make me want to do less. But again it's all up to you individually. I recommend you do try + cope on your own though. When you learn to cope with depression without medication it becomes easier. You still feel it but you discover ways to help pull you out, or to help it glide along more slowly.

I have worked for Sainsburys Supermarkets for 2 years, first as a customer service supervisor, now as a bakery assistant. I am fucking bored of it so I am going to leave. I have no other job to go to. I will rely entirely on my miniscule student loan. I will be poor but happy. I will be free by Christmas.

I know, at first I was like, YAK... but apparantly the fur is a by-product of the CatFood Industry. Anyways, he loves them + has been carying them around ever since biggrin

Well I spent my Saturday on a food safety course. I learnt that you are supposed to cook meat before you eat it. The company paid 250 for my place on the course. Didn't mention that I'm leaving before Christmas. haha bastards.
