I love the Fourth of July. It's like, second only to Halloween in my books. Not that I'm all that patriotic, but I do love romping around in fields of people with my friends in weather like this, and cause mischief until the fireworks go off. As it turns out tho I get to work the drive thru all by myself tonight until one in the morning. So, I don't get to see the fireworks, but I do get to single handedly serve coffee everyone in the world who does. Crap, and we're the only coffee shop in fifteen miles that are actually open on holidays around here. Yeah, I'm gonna get slammed all night I think. I ought ta grab a six pack on my way to work and celebrate my own special (drunken) way in the back cooler tonight.
I've been looking for just the right futon to use in my room at the warehouse and I think I found the perfect one at Pier 1 Imports. It's this cute little blue couch kinda thing that's all cushiony like those seats they used to have in elementry school. It does't have feet, it just sits on the floor, and it folds out into a bed. It's $300, so as soon as i get a cell phone, I'm gonna get that, then I can officially move into the warehouse.
Damn, three hours till work. I better go cash in some change, get that booze, and head on to work. I'm thinking Smirnoff Tripple Black.
