tonight on my way home from work, army ken called! i almost had to pull over because it was so amazing to hear from him. he doesn't think he'll be back for six months though. and he had to cut the phone call short. i don't think i realized how much i like him until the last time i talked to him at 3:30 am right before he left and i realized that i missed him insanely.
it's going to be a loooong six months.
on the the more cheerful side, i'm going to cave in and piebald tomorrow...finally chose that show because it's in boulder and the venue is much smaller and the tickets are a bit cheaper...should be swell!
afi was good but i LOVED the blood brothers. veronica and her boyfriend were sort of fighting though and he left before the show started and i think stayed in the 21 and older area the whole time because he didn't want to be there to begin with. (might as well drink his frustrations away?) that made things less fun, but they're okay now, i guess.

i love the blood brothers. i refused to go see them with afi though. i recorded their show at tulagis in feb. because i had a broken leg.
