mmm...labor day. at least i get the school aspect of it off, anyways!
the wedding was lovely! i saw a gazillion of people from high school and due to a delay in EVERYTHING, (the ceremony, the reception, the picture-taking) i got a lot of catching up and picture-taking done. (i put up pictures for those who care). it was a pretty gloomy day, but the sun came out just long enough to do the outdoor ceremony and consequently created a rainbow!
the part we'll all probably remember, however, was the run in with the drunk guys who weren't part of anything and wouldn't leave. (we were in city park in denver). the groomsmen and ushers all ganged up and a brawl almost ensued. nonetheless, the cops were eventually called!
still haven't made it out to the taste of colorado yet...i'm probably going tomorrow before work with my parents. i'm taking my dad to breakfast tomorrow morning because his birthday is approaching. i've only seen him once since i moved out and he doesn't even know where i live!

i was totally almost offered another job today! i was working at struttin' pup and went over to this place called "delish" for an afternoon snack. the lady who owns it i think, told me she needed counter help during the week and asked me if i was interested. unfortunately my school hours got in the way but she told me to check back because things would always be changing around. wow. i don't even have to seek out jobs anymore. i would love to work at this place though...it's like a cafe with sandwiches, salads, pastries, espresso and the like. and the workers there seem really cool. and it's closer to home. and it's not a franchise which is beginning to become one of my biggest subway pet peeves: "following compliance" and using the "thru-put" questions. which i don't. anyhoo....
i need a hair-cut. i'm considering giving myself one....i already gave the ol' bangs a good butchering this evening. i should probably go somewhere for the rest though....the rest isn't in the front and thus would be much more difficult to see.
