PEOPLE'S FAIR! CIVIC CENTER PARK...saturday, june 5 from 10-8....sunday, june 6 from 10-7.
i finally have the whole weekend off of work! only i'll be at the event above the WHOLE TIME. my mom does watercolor paintings and i helping man the booth. we set up tonight and it was insane! broadway and colfax and bannock and 14th are all closed off. everyone was driving around these booths trying to find somewhere to park and getting very stressed out and the traffic is only supposed to flow one way which is a counter-clockwise direction around the fair...the kicker was that we were about 15 feet from the booth and they made us drive all the way around the whole fair because we weren't pointed in the right direction. we got to the area at 7:15 and didn't set up until about 9. this weekend is going to KILL ME.
ahh....i'm actually looking forward to this weekend. my goal is to get: a necklace, some nifty soap, my palm read, and, depending on sales, some really rad foot henna. and i'm going to make a list of really lame things to say to people and see if i can get everything crossed of the list.
