i had a really eventful day without having any contact with familiar people whatsoever.

it started out this morning. my insane dog was outside barking at something so i went out to see what it was and it turns out...it was a rattlesnake on the other side of the fence, all coiled up and obviously upset. i lured her away from the snake with some cheese and then held her interest with the leash! WALK! so i took her to the fairgrounds and we walked. then i took her home and i went to starbucks and back home where i did picture matting work for my mom (who's in wyoming right now) and on to the rec center...where i spent a good hour and a half rec centering and to target and back home. then i watched big fish. (and enjoyed it). and here i am. i realized that i am extremely self entertaining and had a fulfilling day without the aid of pretty much anyone.

i like summer break. i hope a lot of the rest of it consists of days like these where i only do things purely out of self-motivation. too bad i have to work tomorrow. at least i still have my rec centering and my starbucks.
