Well i have not been hanging around here as much recently.
Been working a fair amount of hours and now we have two paychecks come and gone with out the promised raise. Guess i fell through the cracks. I am following up on it now and there will be a retro check for that 1.50 times X hours + OT for Y hours, back through the 7th of last month.
Someone hit my car and left neither note nor notice. minor damage but it pisses me off.
Not many gifts to by this year, just a couple of gift exchanges and my Ex. Figure I will buy her some cheap video games (yeah discount at work) and she is going to paint something for me. My request. It is funny last year we spent way to much on each other and this year it is very sparse, but then again she is an ex.
Cost+ had neither my favorite Root Beer, nor the shelf space for it. Which sucks because I usually do a beverage and sweets gift basket for gift exchanges and I watch as they are quickly locked out as people steal them from each other. So this time I went for glass containers with cork stoppers. This exchange is for my SCA households christmas party so they should go over well.
Gift wrapping idea that has served me well several times. Hit a fabric store and buy a large remnant and use it to wrap the gift. Works great for SCA or Ren Fair group exchanges.
I need a woman! anyone know any single women in the southern california area looking to hook up with a 34 year old who looks and acts younger who is gainfully employed in the video game industry?
So my work had a big champagne toast for the release of its most recent title and there are four pictures on their website of which I am in 2 of them, ok it is my backside but if you know my hair color (bright yellow blond dubbed villain blond by a manager) and my favorite color (red) I am easy to pick out.

it's cool, I totally thought you had dropped off the face of the earth. cleaned my friends list of people who were gone, or said they were leaving, or thought they were gone, or I never posted in their journal. no hard feelings at all, man, I know you got a lot on your plate.
