Three stories of encounters with friends and coworkers where a woman has been embarassed at my response to something she said.
1. Working int he pharmacy listening to a couple of female clerks talk while I type in prescriptions.
Her (to other clerk): You know what they say about a guys shoe size is true.
Me (Interrupting): I wear a size 13.
Her: Oh? Oh... (rushes off)
2. At a Denny's with a bunch of friends late at night. She had slapped my stomach and I tensed up reflexively.
Her: When you look at it it's so big but when you touch it it's so hard.
Me: Thank you
Her: Deep imediate blush and stammered over an explentaion.
3. Chatting online with some coworkers talking about weight
Me: I'm 220
Her: you must be hiding an extra limb somewhere
Me:
Her: doh! that's not what I meant.
Ahhh. I love women.
