Took my first "vacation" since before the stocks fell and I was unemployed. Left CR airport at a little after 11 pm Wed. night and I rode with my friend Lisa to Chicago. She went to her house, got ready to go while I took a rest, she decided to bring one of her dogs and we drove through the night to Navy Pier. We looked around and then I took a nap in the Durango while she went in to a seminar/ job fair. Then we looked around again. It would have been nice to go in to places or do something there, but she didn't want to leave the dog in her car. We left the pier and stopped at a GIORDANO'S and had lunch.(beef, Canadian Bacon, and mushroom). She beat me in a game of tablecloth checkers. (She took my glass when she jumped me ) Then we drove back. Good time.Most fun I've had in ages.
