aw man, everyone on SG rocks...
thanks sooo much for the birthday wishes.

i must say, yesterday was the greatest birthday i couldve ever asked for. i worked with my animals at the shelter, i spent the whole day with patty, chris, ashley, and michelle. i left work, spent time with jason (who bought me some fabulous wine).. and i figured i would just wait until danny got off work, and go to bed..because i am not a big 'birthday' person.

wrong.

my mother shows up at the door with a huge bouqet of pink and purple tulips and roses... along with her, my baby brother, my older brother *who drove 6 hours that morning just to make it for my bday*, his girlfriend who is fabulous, my stepdad, my stepsisters, my aunt and my cousins.. even the emo one. i was so overwhelmed I didnt even know what to say or anything... and then i got a phone call for me to go outside because sam and april were waiting for me to move my new truck...

and wow.

april, sam, mel, emily, scott, kyle, mike, danny, and a bunch of others that i just can't even name off because they were all piled into a bunch of trucks... were sitting outside with a big banner that said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOURT! WE LOVE YOU!" and they all had roses and stuff and teddy bears and.. oh man... i lost it...

like a total femme girl... i start crying and i just engulfed everyone with hugs and kisses.. and wow... i had the BEST night. i got calls from all my buddies who are in california and florida, and geez... it was more than i ever expected.

and to top it off, i come onto SG, and see all these comments. i love you all

so now i sit here, in my room, that is covered in pink, purple, blue, yellow, white roses, tulips, and everything else you could name... i have the smell of roses and baby breath in the air, and im looking at all the birthday cards that are on my shelves, and i think "damn... im pretty fuckin lucky to have so many people that love me..."

so yea..
