ok ok... my night couldn't have gotten any "crazier". per say.
went to the joint to see Bad Religion with Deb (riotrocksface), and danny... show up, and I bought the last floor ticket. and since deb and danny swear on their concert bible-thing that they will NEVER sit in the balcony for a concert, i was a GOOD, TRUE friend, and sold MY ticket, just so it would be fair.
we ended up then driving down to the roadhouse... a bo-dunk crappy cowboy-giddieup bar that puts on metal/hardcore shows.... and I guess..> Dead Poetic was playing.... (raises eyebrow)
I have nothing against people who listen to music like dead poetic, don't get me wrong, cause i found myself grooving just like the rest of those kids, haha... but uhm... WHY ON EARTH DID I SEE KIDS "HARDCORE" DANCING, WITH THAT KUNG FU NONSENSE?!?!?
Kung fu crap + Dead Poetic = just, well.. stupid. you see them swinging their arms like they are noodles and punching the floor... is Dead Poetic that eff'ing angry!?!?! WHATTTTT was going on. Maybe Vegas kids are just THAT stupid. they were two-stepping to some damn melodic bridges in the song.
myyyy goddddd. i couldnt help but laugh to myself it was hilarious, but just so... retarded. and what was worse.. was... the lead singer of dead poetic.. was like "lets fuck this pit up!" I JUST DROPPED MY JAW.... "WHAT DID HE JUST SAY?" how are you going to sing about crying yourself to sleep and how the music keeps you from dying... and then start doing some roadhouse kicks and a moshpit? eh hem... no... i don't think so. Might as well just load off a bunch of down-syndrome children into the venue and tell them "Now go punch everyone who looks like a girl"... man.. those little emo kids would be screwed... haha... damnit. now there's a pit.
BUT the music was alright, totally different genre for me, but i enjoyed the music...
someone help the lost youth of today.
and i felt like the oldest person there. scary?
