Today we went down to the house in Harrisonburg and paid the security deposit and picked up the house keys. I spent some time in my room, deciding where furniture would go and playing with measuring tape.
If it wasn't real before.. it's definitely more real now. I'm ready to go. I need out of this house, the DC area, this life. It's a scary thing.. but I feel like this experience is going to change me for the better.
I wish I wasn't leaving someone behind though. I really want to try and make things work between us... but we'll just have to wait and see.
My whole life seems to be "wait and see" type situation.
