I bought "Love is Hell Pt. 2" by Ryan Adams today during lunch.
I have been eagerly anticipating this cd, but I hadn't gotten the chance to go out and buy it yet.
In the car on the way home, I usually listen to talk radio to pass the time, but there was a lot of traffic and too many commercials, so I decided to give it a sneak preview.
I listened to the first song and was completely amazed. "My Blue Manhattan". Now, it's incredibly difficult to have a moving emotional experience while trapped in your car in rush hour.. but I definitely did.. and I almost forgot I was driving. Such a beautiful song. It might be my new favorite Ryan Adams/Whiskeytown song.
Everyone go download it immediately.. or if you have $5, the EP is on sale at Best Buy. Get it, because it's amazing.
