Ok, time for a quick update....
Edinburgh - Fun fun fun. Riots, but fun. Happened to be there on G8 protest weekend, but it didn't impair our fun in any way shape or form, except when the street we were trying to explore was full of riot cops pushing the crowd back at us.
London - OMG Fun. Bombs, but fun. My condolences to all the families of victims of the bombings. Fortunately, we were staying about 2 short streets over from Leicester square, and even more fortunately, the bomb did not go off there, despite what early reports said. The town held up remarkably well, and the bombings once again did not really impair our fun having at all. Oh, and I finally got a chance to suck face with a girl with two lip piercings. I'd been itching to see what that felt like...and lemme tell ya, I dug it. Course, I just dig piercings, so I guess it goes without saying.
Glad to be safely home though.
And, I must say, both Journey last night and Allman Bros. tonight put on great shows. Looking forward to Whitesnake and BOC tomorrow. Remind me to tell y'all sometime about the time BOC came to my friend's halloween party. That rocked.
