Well, it's way into the new year now so I decided it was finally time I post yet another blog. I've been rather silent of late because some moves in an out of my flat mean that I don't currently have the internet at home. I need to sort it out soon (as soon as my friends who had the previous contract move to their newly bought house. In the meantime, my mobile bill is taking a hammering every time I log on using my phone.

Not that I would be able to be online much at the moment anyway. I'm on secondment by to my old group at work to lead up the data cleansing and conversions needed for changes to our central finance database. All extremely boring to talk about, even for a computer geek like me, and even I have never found Chart of Account codes interesting. Anyway, it means I'm in Birmingham pretty much every day (oh I so love Virgin trains and their excessive heating policy )

Was different yesterday. Flew up to Manchester for the day. Stacking above Manchester on the way there was beautiful with all the snow on the fields for miles. Coming back was seriously foggy, to the extent that I only saw lights on the ground when we were about 100 feet off the runway. Total instrument landing. It was a long long day.

Anyway, I will post something less boring soon. At least, I will post something soon.
