So for christmas my mums side of the family has a traditional holiday destination. My grandparents and now two of my uncles have holiday houses in Taupo which is located on the shore of the biggest lake in new zealand with the biggest mountain in the background. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best (summer here) but it wasn't miserable at least. Christmas day we all gathered for lunch and played a bit of family wide cricket later
I don't think I remembered to take a pic of the wakeboard but we did that one day (was sore for a good few days after that)!
On boxing day we decided to go quad biking because the lake was a bit rough. So my dad, sister, uncle, cousin and myself went.
And of course it would have rude not to chill on the porch and appreciate the views over a few cold ones
This blog made have made it sound slightly more extravagant than it was but it was nice to get away for a few days and chill with the fam. Thanks for reading if you took the time. @jacqui_daniels tagged you so you could see/hear about it like you asked 😊
