Hear hear! They had a smoking ban in Vancouver when I lived there and it was fantastic. I, like Murkling will smoke an occasional cigar, but it's always an effort 'cause I know the reek is going to hang out on my person for a good long time and the roof of my mouth won't feel right for a couple of days. The scotch usually helps with that though.

Yeah, I would have no problem at all frequenting a bar with a permanent smoking ban. I think there are enough people out there who like to drink without the accompanying cigarette that a place like that would work.

because it's a good excuse to get the girl/guy you picked up at the bar into your shower.
