I kinda know what you mean. The closest Cubans are half a km away from our fenceline now, but whenever we run by on the fenceline, especially formation runs...or especially when we do our very early morning "is it really considered the next day yet?" humps (the kind with packs and lots of walking..not the kind the family dog does on visitor's legs) They come out of thier watch towers and just watch us go by with a strange bemused, wondering expression like they cannot figure out why in the world anyone would want to be out hiking in full gear at 2am or out running at 2pm. For the life of me I don't think I could either.

and why is it when anyone mentions blueberry pancakes I immedietly think about Pulp Fiction?
the strawberry ones they whip up here are pretty damn Deeeeelish too. :-)
