I live in one of those yuppie high rises in the downtown/yaletown area of Vancouver. It always amazes me that I can step into the elevator with another human being and get no response after saying hello.

I've gotten to making a point of saying hello, good morning, have a great day etc...just to see what kind of response I get. I'm around 50/50 right now of acknowledging my existence.
