I am now free to move any time after the 21st. It's in the 30s here. It's in the 50s in Asheville. Today it was so cloudy in St. J that we didn't really have any sunlight at all. The sun sets at about 4pm, anyway. My car is running again - new carborator. Almost $200. I love my mother. I cannot WAIT to get...

The Firefly movie is coming out in September! Awesome! Wait, it's November.... shit!

In other news - I ran out of chapstick. My lips are killing me. And yes, I'm bored. But I get to go to Burlington tomorrow, and I'm going to watch National Treasure, because Nicolas Cage is hot, and the movie most likely has explosions, and I'll watch just about anything that...

No more job. I've been watching movies all day long for the past few days. It's fun, until I ran out of stuff to watch. You can only see every episode of Firefly so many times in a month. After the second or third it gets a little boring. I just watched Idependence Day for about the 15th time. The tape has annoying lines on...

Wreath making is almost over. Maybe a couple more days, and then that's it. I might work with the trees, too. Did that on Wednesday and Thursday, and I'm still sore. Some of those trees were frikkin HUGE. I couldn't lift most of them - just stood them up so the guys could throw them onto the tractor. I felt like such a weakling.

Went...

Maple syrup job lasted one week. I quit on Friday. Couldn't take it. It was SO FUCKING BORING. I start making christmas wreaths on Tuesday. Pays less, and not as many hours, but I couldn't take the syrup factory for much longer. People kept telling me that there is a lot of advancement possibilities - cause I really want to work at a fucking syrup...

I start work on Monday. 6:30am. That's really gonna suck. But hey, money is money. I'll have something to do. But no more weekday jaunts to Montpelier or Burlington.

I got a free two week membership with Netflix. I watch so many movies, I might just pay for it when they stop sending me freebies. I got the first three DVDs yesterday. Already watched two...

Ann Arbor was awesome. I think I'm going to move there. It isn't all that flat - little hills, lots of trees, don't even notice there aren't any mountains. Ann Arbor is just like Burlington, VT, but bigger. And more ethnically diverse. Had some fantastic Indian food.

Flight there was great, flight back was ok. Tiny plane, small children, no leg room, bag wouldn't fit...

I don't check the site for a while, and they go and change shit on me. Hmph.

Well, I'm still alive, incase anyone was wondering. Today was my last day at the video store. I quit because I hated it, the money sucked and one (just one, not bad) of the people I had to work with was a complete bitch. I have an interview...

michigan is going to have some real nice autum foilage, so see if you can go walking/driving to see some of the juicy autumn core. of course you got that in vermont already too... blackeyed
slight:
yes, PLENTY of foliage here. people spend lots of money to come here and look at our perdy leaves. damn leaf peepers.

I might as well be living at the north pole. it's cold enough here.

Hey Slight. You asked me what Ann Arbor was like about a month ago, and I'm just now getting back to you. Sorry for the delay. Ann Arbor is a very pleasant, charming, charismatic, clean town. There's always something happening, but the noise level isn't too much. Traffics bad, but it's not really crowded. Downtown is beautiful. For my tastes, it's a bit liberal politically, but overall it's a nice place to be.
