My ear lobes got infected. I took the 12 gauges out and put 20 gauge gold hoops in. The holes closed up really fast..... Sad, but I didn't want to permanently damage my lobes. 
The Dresden Dolls are playing Providence on Oct. 29, and Boston on Oct. 31. Seeing them on Halloween would be awesome, but it IS a Monday..... Providence is only an hour a way, and the 29th is a Saturday..... The thing is, since Halloween is a Monday I probably won't be doing anything wacky and wild into the wee hours (note the alliteration), especially since I don't have anyone to do it with.
So I could just get a ticket to the Boston show, and maybe try to get my roommates to go with..... I need to meet more people. Bleh. meeting people sucks monkey testicles (as I just explained to Rhoswen, this is my new favorite saying). So, Dresden Dolls on a Saturday or Monday? I've never seen them - I've heard they put on a great show, and I love their album.
