That interview I had on Tuesday...... I GOT THE JOB! I start on the 11th. My current boss wanted me to give him three weeks notice - it was difficult to keep from laughing in his face. My last day there is the 6th. On the 7th I'm flying to Michigan to visit my best friend. I decided that since I'm going to be making more money I could splurge on a plane ticket. My return flight is on the 10th - I just hope that nothing goes wrong and I actually make it back so I can start working on the 11th.
I just put an awesome pair of 12 gauges in my ears. They're handmade, and therefore a little oddly shaped - the end is closer to a 10 gauge, but the part that actually sits in the holes is 12. It hurt getting them in, but they're ok now.
I HAVE A NEW JOB! And I can take the T, or even ride my bike to work. Now I don't have to worry about gas prices going up to $5/gallon. I hate driving to work - it ruins my entire day. Plus, I have several near-death experiences a week. Fucking Boston drivers.
